Guido Pella was beaten 7-6 (4), 6-3 by Argentinian Facundo Bagnis (140°) and was eliminated in Lima's Challenger quarterfinals.
The 23 years old player couldn't take his chances in first set (1-9 in BP) and Bagnis won in a balanced tie break.
The second set were tied too, but Pella suffered two breaks, in seventh and nineth game, to lose the match after two hours.
The player borned in Bahía Blanca finished a season in wich had the chance to play all the Grand Slams. His better result were the semifinals in Dusseldorf.
Pella will not finish on top 100 this year and will not play Australian Open in January. He will play again in South America. His first tournament will be Barranquilla's Challenger (20-1).
