Pella at Roland Garros and Wimbledon

Guido Pella today received two good news: early in the morning Argentina was released the entry list for the main draw of Wimbledon (the traditional event on grass will begin on June 24) in which the Argentine ranked last available for appearing in the 103rd position in the world rankings.

Hours later, it was confirmed the low American Mardy Fish (40 º) at Roland Garros, so did the local lefty also access Parisian main draw of the event.
Until a few days, Pella was as a second alternate on the list of participants, but the negative American Brian Baker (74 º) first and Fish then allowed the player formed in Liniers avoid going through the qualifying stage for the second Grand Slam of the season, starting the 26th inst.
Thus, Pella will have the chance to complete at least one appearance in the four major tennis tournaments worldwide, taking into account their interests in the U.S. Open 2012 (fell in four sets to Russia's Nikolay Davydenko) and the Open Australia 2013 (ceded in straight sets with Israeli Amir Weintraub).
